Introduction for those who have never
visited our site before....
Drum circles are a way for a community to come together and share a common bond through rhythm. Whether you're a complete beginner or have already done some drumming, you'll be made to feel welcome.
We focus particularly on the village rhythms of West Africa, as played on the djembe (or jembe), djun djun, talking drums, sabhar and others. However we do also often inject influences from other cultures such as South American Samba rhythms.
Our Teddington, Reading, Brighton and Swindon drum circles are well attended and have a lovely friendly atmosphere in which you can explore your own music, connect with others and take a couple of hours to have some fun! And if a couple of hours just isn't long enough for you, you can join us at a 'Tribal Camp' - a few days away for drumming, dance, voice and other workshops.
Click on the links at the top of the page for more details about the drum circles and camps, and we hope to see you soon!
