The coaxial cable attachment is also of my own design and will not pull apart like the others on the market.  The brass bolt carrying the signal is completely insulated where it passes thru the car body and from the plates but the special way of locking the stud allows the outside threads to be fully grounded to the auto while pulling the antenna mount as tight as needed.  The one pictured here is designed for use with the backing plates.   The body of the connector is 1 & 1/2 inch in diameter with a  1/2-20 threaded stud.  The top is a standard  5/8-24  thread, the same as an SO-239 connector,  and fits the PL-259 plug on most cables.

                    Co-Axial Cable Connector:  $  28.00   patent pending

This connector also doubles as an antenna mount it is so strong.   If your antenna uses a PL259 base connection ( such as the  NGC UHV-6 ) then this is your mount. With the top part made with thick walls supporting the threads,   she works like a charm.   SEE  HERE

SHORTER MODEL

2  in.

1  1/4 in

5/8 in

1  1/2  inch OD

1/2-20  BRASS STUD

5/8-24 THREAD

These are the measurements for the connector pictured above that are designed to work with the backing plates that I make.

A shorter version for the pocket brackets has a 1 1/2 inch long stud.  In passing thru the 1/4 inch plate of the bracket and the insulators under the mount, that leaves 1 inch that screws into my mounts. It is so long because a lot of people when mounting my stuff use mounting plates up to 1/2 inch thick. That still leaves a lot of threads in the mount.  It is probably a bit long for most other mounts but being brass can be easily shortened for your needs. (saw or grind)

The shorter model also has the insulator extending down around the stud less than 1/8 inch.  Just enough to center it in the hole.  The insulator under the mount also has a lip that extends down around the stud as well.  The center stud is solid brass and the body is all aluminum so there is no worry about rust.

No more will you need to strip the cable,  this thing takes the place of the bolt that you have to use now.   Just as strong and secure.
